Good condition, an old restoration
A post-impressionist touch for this pretty, lively scene at the end of a summer day. Everyone takes refuge under the trees, livestock and humans, to find a little coolness in the shade of a small wood. Power lines and an old car tell us about the arrival of modernity in the French countryside.
A beautiful testimony left by Henri LE CHARLES, a painter born in Châteauneuf in Charente, who exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Indépendants from 1895.
