This sculpture reflects the artist’s characteristic style by combining organic and geometric forms, creating an interesting sense of tension.
Pol Spilliaert studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts of La Cambre in Brussels, where he was taught by figures such as modernist architect Leon Stynen , from which he graduated in 1959.
