Antique Fan Circa 1780, Leaf Painted With A Village Festival Scene
Fan with a leaf in skin painted with gouache of a pretty party scene in a village. Many details are represented there like this harness which tips into the ditch or this child playing with the hoop. Beautiful frame in engraved ivory, gilded and silvered. The fan is sold with its CITES certificate. It measures 10,63 inches closed and 19,29 inches in diameter open. Circa 1780.
