Bright pair of candlesticks in the Louis XV style and Napoleon III period. The central part as a shaft is made of very hard wood covered with tortoiseshell veneer in tortoiseshell of a dominant dark red color, shaded with black. The tortoiseshell has benefited from a buffer varnish providing contrast, shine and protection. Richly chiseled gilded bronze of eventful shape with floral and foliage decoration. Each candle holder is equipped with original and removable wax protection.
