Jesus Of The Manger Circa 1900
Lovely terracotta nativity scene baby Jesus circa 1900, Italy? Beautiful handcrafted polychrome terracotta. Very realistic facial details, glass eyes. Scattered wear, stains and patina of time, micro-cracks on the bottom of the right cheek in the neck and on one arm, not very visible. One toe certainly restored, a crack in the left index finger but the whole remains solid. Look carefully at the photos and do not hesitate to contact me for more details. A metal punch appears on the left buttock where a Maltese cross is drawn as well as a partly visible inscription that I could not decipher. This subject can be embellished with another object online on my gallery, same provenance, it is the guardian angel. I offer €400 for both pieces. Delivery: €10 for mainland France.
