Community Box Quest Trunk With Two Locks Small Oak Chest Late 18th
Small oak chest forming a trunk, with two locks on the top. It was customary in communities for keys to be distributed among different members in order to preserve the integrity of each. Lid hinged on wrought iron hinges, with a slot in the center to collect the coins of the faithful. Mounting with large dovetails.
