slightly smoked crystal cup, mounted on four gilt bronze feet with a cherry branch motif, made by the Cristallerie de Bacarat for Eugène Rousseau in the years 1875-1890. a Japanese motif decorates this cup. Eugène Roussau (1827-1890) is a master glassmaker who set up as a merchant around 1855 in Paris. his production is influenced by Japonism in the years 1865-1870.
