Korean High Legged Solid Wood Chest Korea 19th Century
Korean chest in solid wood with high legs to isolate its contents from the ground, enhanced with brass or bronze fittings, reinforcements and closure, opening with a flap at the top.
Each side is made of a single piece of wood and assembled in a dovetail.
Light-colored interior and darker exterior.
Note an old repair in a corner on the right side and some superficial wear.
