Provencal Blanket In Cotton Piqué - Two Sides Printed - Quilted Piece - 19th Century
Quilted bedspread in printed cotton pique (19th century). Both sides display a romantic decor composed of large bouquets of peonies in soft tones on a cream-colored background for the main side, as for the other side we can observe a decor of flower baskets, sprigs tied with a thin blue ribbon and seedlings on the same background color as the front side. The whole is of beautiful quality, with a soft and pleasant touch. Cleaned piece. Condition: Two slight, barely noticeable glimmers are to be noted on the reverse side (the side with the blue ribbon). These marks are quite discreet (see photos).
