Antique Mid Victorian Cased Sterling Silver Fish Serving Set In Art Nouveau Design
Splendid mid Victorian sterling silver fish serving set. The upper parts are pierced and engraved with a highly intricate scrolling and foliate design in typical Art Nouveau fashion. The handles are chased in high-relief with shells and foliage and the cartouches feature a globe on both pieces. The set comes in its original fitted leather case with navy blue silk and velvet lining.
A truly exceptional example of Victorian silver craftsmanship!
