Beautiful projection lanterns, complete with its transport box, from Mazo establishments at the end of the 19th century. Its main quality lies in a solid copper optical system, with variable spacing, which can be adjusted by a helical screw located at the front of the device. This lantern is complete and even has its 4-wick oil lamp. In used condition and with a good general state of conservation. Length 45.5 cm. - Invented in 1659, the magic lantern, ancestor of the slide projector, first fascinated the crowds as an entertainment tool. At the end of the 19th century, it entered schools as a real educational tool.
