A pair of Bretons carved from wood. These statuettes were finely carved during the first half of the 20th century, in the 1920s and 1930s. The figures are dressed in traditional Breton costumes. The male figure holds a sickle in his hand, and the female figure holds a sprig of wheat, symbolizing the harvest. Good condition. Height: 49 cm.
