Antique Tortoiseshell Piquè Gold Earrings
Piquè is the old (and lost !) art of inlay small gold points on the tortoiseshell. This art started in Naples in the 18th century. Here we present to you these nice pair of antique tortoiseshell gold piquè earrings having a shape of an unusual beautiful drop. Full of small gold inlaid points of different gold color. Very carefully worked they are nice to wear and very light. From Naples. End of the 19th century. 14K gold (touchstone tested). They are in perfect condition.
