Drawing from the collection of Michel Degenne, which has remained in the family to this day. Most certainly number 39 "pensive man" in the catalogue of the exhibition in Charlieu in 1975 (it mentions: "MD collection") for Michel Degenne who produced this exhibition as part of the Société des Amis des Arts de Charlieu for the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Roger de la Fresnaye. 55 works were presented there, Michel Degenne had written a moving introduction.
