'trg' Coffee Table By Willy Rizzo, Red Lacquer And Brass, Italy, 1969
Vintage red lacquer and brass coffee or sofa table by Willy Rizzo of Italy, 1969.
Round body with half-moon shaped top. New lacquer finish in the original deep red colour tone, polished to a high gloss. Swivels 360 degrees on a black base. Original brass compartment, removable and polished. Completely restored and re-lacquered.
Design: Willy Rizzo, model "TRG", 1969 (signed in white on the lower edge).
Maker: Willy Rizzo Studio
TRG was created in 1969 for the interior design of Gigi Cassini's apartment at Palazzo Torlonia. The room was round and so I created a round table.
