Biedermeier Armoire, Walnut Veneer, South Germany Circa 1820
Walnut and walnut fiber veneer over softwood. Ebonized solid columns and braces. Veneered cornice with cavities. Coat of arms key inlaid in the horn. Original lock, bolt, and hinges. Interior fittings with three black fabric-covered shelves on the left and an old wooden bar on the right. Restored condition with a beautiful hand-polished shellac finish. Fully disassembled for transport.
