After studying at the École des Arts Décoratifs and the Grande Chaumière, Paris, Mado Jolain (1921-1919) worked for Primavera under the direction of Colette Guedon. Her work was presented in other important galleries in the 1950s and 1960s. She was inspired by folk art and utilitarian pottery of the past, to which she brought innovation and a unique perspective.
