This Tapestry was Cleaned by the Galerie Lissier craft workshop Moses' Staff The Lord said to Moses: "Go and tell Aaron: Take your staff, stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt - Let there be blood throughout the land of Egypt, even in the vessels of wood and stone." Moses and Aaron did as the Lord had commanded. Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with his staff: water gushed out in abundance, and the community was able to drink and water their animals. However, in this story which takes up that of the Exodus, Moses and Aaron express doubt about the goodwill or power of God.
