Painted Sheet Metal Plate Revel Umbrella Signed Leonetto Cappiello
Original painted sheet metal plaque signed Leonetto Cappiello (1875-1942), Italian illustrator. It is dated 1922, one of the most beautiful creations of the Émaillerie Alsacienne of Strasbourg. It is in good general condition and was donated in person by Monsieur Revel. The use of bright colors and bold typography was a characteristic of Cappiello's style.
