19th Century Painted Wooden Money Changer's Table
Rectangular conifer table with a painted top decorated with deer, fallow deer, and birds within reserves, flowers, and cords. It opens with a drawer in the apron, running through the top. The drawer is decorated on both sides. This drawer was used by money changers to transfer money. Turned legs joined by a peripheral stretcher. Swiss work, 19th century, very original. Dimensions: 120 cm long x 110 cm wide x 75 cm high
