Small "wigmaker" chest of drawers from the 18th century Louis XV with a curved shape on the front and sides that end in the rear movement in curved projections. "Wigmaker" in Rio rosewood veneer on an oak frame whose quality work defines this elegant piece of furniture as Parisian, circa 1750/1760.
This elegant little chest of drawers opens to a drawer on the front on its lower parquet; it is covered with a gray Sainte-Anne des Ardennes marble fully reproducing the curves of the piece of furniture in a sculpted corbin beak and inverted cavetto surround. Piece of furniture decorated with a set of beautiful chiseled bronzes, for the drawer pull, and for the ornamentation of the front and the upper legs as well as the feet; beautiful quality bronzes.
