Antique Ivory Carved Gold Earrings
The Grand Tour cultural movement of the 19th century stimulated the creation of archeological jewellery inspired by ancient objects. Here we present these lovely antique earrings perfectly carved in ivory representing an amphora all decorated around. Some pearls come out like drops of water. A lovely little masterpiece of the Art of engraving. The handles are in 14K Gold filigree. Very elegant to wear. End of the 19th century from Rome. 14K Gold (touchstone tested). They are in perfect condition.
