Large Office Chair Upholstered In Bordeaux Red Leather, Louis XIII - Louis XIV Style, 19th Century

Very beautiful and very elegant Louis XIV - Regence style office chair with leather upholstery and high seat. The base of our chair is made up of four baluster legs connected together by an X-shaped spacer topped with a spinning top in its center. The armrests are of an eventful shape, widely open outwards and finished in a crosier. The backrest is slightly inclined and shaped like a gendarme's hat on its upper part. It is covered with burgundy leather upholstery that time has beautifully patinated and is accompanied by a studded finish. The upholstery is in very good condition and the seat is very comfortable. Beautiful manufacture from the second half of the 19th century for this seat which can be used for many purposes.
