Rare 19th-century Candy Box/jar In Cut Crystal With A Richly Carved And Gilded Bronze Mount

Very beautiful 19th-century candy box in clear cut crystal with a richly carved and gilded bronze mount.

The circular base is adorned with carved leafy scrolls. The bowl rests on a pedestal, encircled by a gilded bronze band with motifs of flowers and ribbons. The lid, also decorated with leafy scrolls and ribbons, features a handle and is hinged.
The neck is adorned with leaf friezes and foliage descending to hold the garland around the body, which is itself decorated with flower garlands held by tied ribbons.
In perfect condition, with traces of oxidation on the hinge.
