Old Gold Diamonds Enamel Bracelet Napoleon III

Old cuff bracelet forming a rigid oval bangle formed of several falling gold plates, articulated together and decorated with gadroons on the top. The last one hiding the push-button and rack clasp. A safety chain is present. On the top, an important openwork pattern is formed of delicately chiselled interlacing and decorated in applique with a fleur-de-lys pattern partially enameled in large blue and 2 crescent moon patterns, also partially enameled. The fleur-de-lys is set with a line of old cushion-cut diamonds and the 2 crescent moons are set with 2x3 old cushion-cut diamonds. 5 other old cushion-cut diamonds are set on the decoration.

Period: 19th century
Main material: yellow gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats.
Total weight of diamonds: approximately 0.82 carats.
Height of the pattern: approximately 4 cm, width of the pattern: approximately 6.5 cm, thickness: approximately 18 mm.
Inner circumference: approximately 16.5 cm.
Net weight: approx. 28.3g.
Authentic old jewel - Work from the second half of the 19th century. Slight lack of enamel and small marks of time, barely visible.
Our opinion: This magnificent old Napoleon 3 jewel was undoubtedly part of a much more important old set which used these same motifs, only this old bracelet has reached us.
