Important Baroque Baldachin Louis XV Period, Table Architecture, Companion Masterpiece

A rare and beautiful piece of French Baroque Art from the 18th century, canopy on an entablemet in a richly carved and polychromed ornamental emicycle, marvelous table architecture and in its condition, the experience having left its mark. A beautiful piece that makes you dream and with high decorative value which is made to magnify a statue; surrounded by these six beautiful columns with round capitals on the circumference of the entablature and rectangular on two sides. The sober black and porphyry red polychomy alternates in cartridges and frames. The majestic canopy is worked like a coffered vault with complications, the side uprights ending in two colossal volûtes. The complicated architecture of the gendarme's hat canopy is remarkable for its moldings and stuccoed decorative elements. This splendid and present "Object of Curiosity" is sufficient in itself and has a high decorative value, transporting us to the middle of the 18th century under the Reign of Louis XV, where it has all the ornaments and majesty...
