Superb standing cup in mercury-gilded bronze decorated with a woman's head with a bun and a bearded man, pretty frieze of foliage on a green patinated brass background, base with rows of pearls, Empire period. The green patina has suffered varnish and wear on the foot. Very beautiful execution of the gilded bronzes.
