"Empire Style Marble Portico Clock"
Beautiful Empire style portico clock, from the Napoleon III period. Sienna marble architecture with four columns decorated with gilt bronze chiseled with palmettes and at the top of an eagle on a globe. White enamel dial highlighted by an outline of water leaves, all protected by a glass. The space between the columns is occupied by a finely worked pendulum of palmette, cornucopia, lira and a swan.Original mechanism without modification, hour and half-hour strike on old bell.
