"Art Deco Slope Desk Around 1930 Signed Soubier"
Art Deco sloping desk, manufactured around 1930, furniture made of Amboyna Burl and Mahogany veneer. Desk opening with a flap held in the open position by two sliding uprights when opened, giving access to an interior with solid mahogany lockers and two drawers, the interior of the flap is covered with havana-colored imitation leather with golden patterns (refurbished). The lower part is made up of three storage drawers. The base is made of four spindle legs in Cuban mahogany. The entire piece of furniture is made in symmetry of Amboine burl plate framed by a mahogany frieze, the drawers are in solid oak as is the structure, the whole thing is of high quality. Solid mahogany pull handles, brass hardware. Furniture signed in a drawer by a plaque from SOUBRIER Paris. Authentic Art Deco period furniture, fully restored in our cabinetmaking workshop. Buffer varnish finish (resistant to splashes of water, alcohol, etc.) refurbished. Delivery in France and abroad on quote.
