Christian Krass Art Deco Storage Unit / Showcase

Complete photo file by clicking HERE Storage unit serving as a showcase in the upper part signed Christian KRASS circa 1935. The lower part opens with two doors in symmetry of Rio Rosewood veneer on an interior composed of three English-style drawers. Base composed of a half-round molding on the front on the lower part decorated with bronze rings, all resting on a rectangular base. The recessed upper part has at its junction with the lower part a bronze molding with gadroon motifs, it opens on the front with a glass door with a metal frame giving access to two exhibition levels made up of glass shelves, the adjustment is ensured by brass racks. The upper top is in portor marble. The entire piece of furniture is made of solid Rosewood, Rio Rosewood and Indian Rosewood veneer, oak structure, high quality workmanship. Furniture signed with iron on one side. Authentic Art Deco period furniture, fully restored in our cabinetmaking workshop. Traditional buffer varnish finish redone.
