Late 19th Century Cast Iron Dentist's Tower - Functional!
This dentist's lathe dating from the 1880s remains in its original condition and still works.
The pedal mechanism drives the bur holder via a flexible which, despite the vibrations... made it possible to enlarge the cavities and treat cavities.
The whole is in very good condition; the drive belt which is in the form of a long spring has been repaired in two places but still plays its role perfectly.
The dental drill has obviously been replaced by a drill.
The apparatus measures 140 cm high. It disassembles into 2 parts to facilitate transport.
Its weight is approximately 9 kg. Careful and fast shipping by colissimo.
