Oil on canvas representing a young woman, dressed in the 17th century style, painted on her left profile, holding a bouquet of roses. Richly dressed and adorned with beautiful jewelry, she admires these flowers which she holds in her right hand. Original canvas, stretcher and frame. Good general condition apart from some bitumen in the dark parts of the top of the painting, as was very common at the time. Signed lower right A.BRASCH, dated 1901. Auguste BRASCH, born in 1866.
