Charming painting representing a rustic interior composed of a set of brass instruments as well as various brass candlesticks and oil lamps, all arranged on a table and a shelf. At the center of our painting, a splendid bouquet of country flowers gives color and charm to this ensemble. Our painting is entitled "Rustic Harmony" and has the inscription on the back, see photo. This oil on canvas was produced by Madé Gourdon in Saint Jean de Ligourre in the department of Haute Vienne, she was very well known in Limoges in the 1950s-60s for her still lifes, some of her paintings are kept at the Musée des Fine Arts of Limoges.
