17th Terracotta Fireplace Hearth Plate
The last terracotta fireplace hearth plate complete and intact. A real curiosity because it is almost impossible to unseal them without breaking them. Comes from a private mansion classified as a Historic Monument in Puy de Dôme. Most likely made in a tile factory in Basse Auvergne. The address will be provided. Manufactured late 17th early 18th. A crack is present in the lower part, but the plate remains solid given its thickness. A custom wooden crate was made for transport.
