A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 1957, Michel Mangematin spent time in the United States, where he worked with Franck Lloyd Wright and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Known for his architectural work, he left behind very few furniture objects of his own creation. This highly refined table is a sure sign of his success in the U.S., where he worked with the great names in architecture.
