" 4 Safari Armchairs By Wilhelm Kienzle + Ottoman "
Designer: Wilhelm Kienzle. Manufacturer: Heydebrand, Bern (Switzerland). Design period: 1928. Rare set of four safari chairs and one ottoman. Fully and easily disassembled. The ottoman can be used as a coffee table by adding a tray (included). The original canvas upholstery shows some slight traces of old soiling, but is neither torn nor burned. Only the small leather straps underneath have been remade to match the originals...for another 50 years! These pieces were purchased in the late 1950s for Australia. They were repatriated to France last year.
