Henri - Louis Levasseur is a famous French sculptor , student of Augustin - Alexandre Dumont , Jules Thomas and Eugène Delaplanche .

Many of his works were rewarded at the French Artists' Salon and at the Universal Exhibitions of 1889 and 1900 .
