Effigies of the Christ and a crowned man
Watercolor and ink by William Julien Émile Édouard Laparra (1873-1920)
Signed and dated 1899 lower left. Located : Ravenne (?)
At the time William Laparra was staying at the Academy de France in Roma, visiting many antique places with his friend Max d'Ollone. This watercoulour might have been inspired by a frescoe or a mosaïc of Ravenne.
