Henry Thomson was born in Dundee in 1880 (Scotland) died in 1921.. In 1906, he obtained the contract to build, with his brother Frank, the "King's Theatre" in Dundee. In 1911, he won the competition for St John's Cross Church, a relocated Burgh church in the Blackness area.
