Shiva, on the left, is traditionally depicted taller than his consort. Its youthful-looking face is characterized by semi-circular eyebrow bones above large almond-shaped eyes, the thin nose positioned above a small mouth with parted lips. The hair consists of wide waving curls falling over the shoulders, a heavy necklace resting on her chest. Parvati has a slightly slanted face with closed eyes framing a thin, flattened nose. The hairstyle is characterized by a double bun top, the generous breasts receiving as well as Shiva a wide necklace. Left arm raised, hand at face level holding back her braid.
