End Of 18th - Early 19th Century Iron Safe flag

Object description :

"End Of 18th - Early 19th Century Iron Safe "
Beautiful iron safe from the late 18th century, mounted on an elegant Louis XIV small sideboard in solid walnut wood. This safe is particularly interesting for its construction with iron and steel plates fixed with bolted, rounded-head nails stuck in the internal wood, giving it solidity and resistance. The decorations on the front, such as the eagle and the lion, are typical of the imperial period and add a touch of elegance and history, due to the classical references. The lock of the safe, dated between the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century, is hidden and particularly fascinating with three keys, including a normal one and two with drawn mapping, in iron and worked pin. The safe is lined internally with red fabric and has two large shelves, ideal for storing precious objects and money safely. This wonderful Italian-made safe is in excellent condition and can be sold separately from the small sideboard, it can also be easily mounted on the wall. A unique and fascinating piece of furniture, being a typical ancient chest of the time, capable of adding a touch of history and style to any environment.
