Empire Period Domino Paper Trunk

Artist: Louis Reboul
Superb trunk with shawls and ribbons in cardboard covered with domino paper decorated with scrolls of flowers, butterflies, birds, urns and quivers. it is decorated on the four sides and the lid with a brass grip on the top. it still has its lid holding ribbons, its blue paper interior and a pretty engraving on the inside of the lid. Some wear and scratches but the general condition is exceptional. We can also note the presence of two labels from the manufacturer: Louis Reboul, cartonnier, 2 rue Pharaon Toulouse. French work around 1810.
