The bronze sculpture depicts a standing sculptor, Michelangelo, with a chisel and a hammer in his hands. The artist is dressed in a Renaissance costume with buff sleeves and wide thigh-high boots. He is depicted with a characteristic curly hairstyle and beard, which we find in other portraits of him, such as that of Daniele da Volterra (1509-1566) or the Florentine statue of Emilio Santarelli (1801-1889).France / Italy, Monogram "AD" Height 32.5 cm. 19th century.
