"Pair Of Covered Vases Forming Candlestick Empire Period"
Rare model of covered vases from the Empire period in patinated and gilded bronze. The reversible hat is decorated with a pine cone forming a socket and the inside of a binet. The body of the vases is decorated with a frieze of small leaves and on the base with laurel leaves. The handles enhanced with lotus leaves surround a female head wearing a sort of Nemes. It rests on a quadrangular base decorated on two sides with a winged love playing the diaule. Work circa 1810 in very good state of conservation.
