Large enameled bronze medal. Homage to Marienval, birth of Gothic Art 1125. Lyrical abstraction evoking the spiers of Gothic cathedrals. Dated and numbered on the edge: 1971. No. 105 of 200. On the reverse, enameled decoration signed Mathieu. Georges Mathieu (1921-2012), famous french artist creator of the movement "Abstraction lyrique".
