Beautiful pair of French flintlock officer's pistols circa 1790–1800, Louis XVI style.
Hexagone barrel, LC hallmarked for the manufacturer.
Trim in cut, engraved and finely chiseled steel. Against plate, pommel and trigger guard decorated with foliage scrolls, flowers and urn. Between two scroll engravings is mentioned twisted barrel.
