Provençal Sauteuse Commode, Late 18th Century
Provençal saute chest of drawers with projection inlaid with geometric patterns opening with two drawers without crosspiece. It is decorated with alternating marquetry fillets of plum, olive and ebony wood. White marble top. Very architecturally specific to the antique Occitan decorations very popular in the 18th century. Provençal work from the last quarter of the 18th century. Louis XVI period. H x W x D = 86 x 114 x 56 cm Excellent condition.
