Beautiful and elegant pair of armchairs from the Louis XVI period, circa 1780, 18th century. The pair of armchairs that we are presenting are said to be convertible with a gendarme's hat back, finished at the ends with two sides carved with acanthus leaves. They rest on four roughened feet decorated with connecting dice, sculpted with crossettes. A beautiful lampas completes the decor. Private collection. Dimensions: h.86 cm x l.56.5 cm x d.50 cm. In very good shape.
