- The famous Italian designer, Ettore Sottsass - to whom the Center Pompidou dedicated an exhibition in 2021 - embodies post-modernism. The founder of the very influential Memphis group does not hesitate to use color combinations, more or less daring, to brighten up his creations with geometric shapes. The cubic “Eastside” armchair that he designed in 1983 for KNOLL is a perfect example. -
