G. GERMANO. [Oil on double-sided panel; signed]. Dimensions: 513 x 358 mm + frame. Double-sided oil, signed G. Germano on one of them. The authorship of the work is corroborated by the presence of a metal plaque giving the identity of the painter. Period: early 20th century. The signed side shows, in the impressionist vein, a lively square in the shade of the trees, decorated with a fountain. The background is occupied by cars as well as architectural buildings. The other side, with a palette of tawny colors and also interesting from a technical point of view, represents a rocky seaside. Presented under frame. Scattered chips affecting the frame. Superficial alterations on the margins of each side. Cleaning to be expected.
